Norwegian Getaway sails for the Netherlands ahead of launch Nov 20th 2013, 11:23, by Breaking Travel News Marking another key milestone in the ship's delivery, Norwegian Getaway has successfully completed her conveyance along the Ems River. Sailing backwards and taking approximately 1.5 hours, Norwegian Getaway left MEYER WERFT in Papenburg, Germany, and made the narrow passage through the ship yard's locks with only 1.6 meters clearance separating the ship from the "bumpers" that were specially installed along the starboard side of the locks.
